What we do so that this website works for everyone, and how to tell us about a problem.

kowziro wants kowziro.com to be usable by as many people as possible, including visitors who rely on assistive technology. This statement describes the measures taken, the limitations we are aware of and how to reach us.
1. Our approach
We treat accessibility as part of building and maintaining this website, not as a separate task. Whenever a page is added or the design changes, we check that the content can still be read with a screen reader, used with a keyboard and enlarged in the browser. This statement covers the pages published under kowziro.com.
2. What we do
The website uses semantic HTML with a clear heading structure, one main heading per page and link texts that make sense on their own. Navigation and main content are marked as separate regions, each page states its language for screen readers, and images that carry information have text alternatives.
Text and background colours are combined to reach a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 for body copy, links and buttons. Because sizes are given in relative units, zooming or increasing the browser font size does not disturb the layout. The website can be operated with a keyboard alone.
3. Standards
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. The site is currently partially conformant: most content meets the guidelines, while the points listed below do not yet. Where a requirement cannot be met right away, we provide the information in another way.
4. Limitations we know of
Some pictures are general illustrations with a short alternative text rather than a full description.
5. Feedback
If you come across a barrier on this website, or cannot find information you need, please tell us by email at hello@kowziro.com or by telephone on 01823 450 0610. It helps to name the page, describe what happened and mention the browser or assistive technology you used; we aim to answer within five working days.
6. Other ways to reach us
This website is not the only way of obtaining information from kowziro. You can telephone us on 01823 450 0610 during normal business hours, write to hello@kowziro.com or send a letter to 14 Bridge Works Lane, Taunton TA1 3PL. Where a page is not accessible to you, we will read the information out by telephone or supply it in plain text form.
7. Preparation of this statement
The present statement is dated 21 October 2026 and rests on a self-assessment carried out by kowziro, not on an external audit. We examined the navigation, the contact form and the main page types ourselves, using a keyboard, browser zoom and a screen reader. We review the text once a year and whenever the website is rebuilt.
